This latest interview with our radionic sage, John Nauss, is somewhat different from our previous discussions, and goes quite deep, describing our personality and laying the spiritual foundations for our radionics work. It will give the radionics practitioner much to contemplate, continuing and expanding on the revolutionary spiritual work of David Tansley as it applies to radionics. The emphasis is rather away from the instrument and towards the spiritual Self. With that being said, grab a cup of your favourite beverage (and a pack of biscuits – this is a long article), and strap in for a deep dive.
► First of all, John, welcome back. I received some positive feedback from some members of the radionics community, very appreciative of what you had to share in our previous interview. Certainly I learned some things, and the interview offered some excellent guidance as to what radionics really is. Even the Radionics Association in Britain picked up on it and asked permission to republish the interview, so all told there’s been some positive feedback. I’m really looking forward to this interview.
So John, how does our perception of energy influence our practice of radionics? Can it enhance or reduce the efficacy of what we do? To do that, I imagine that we would need to see what and how perception is created and maintained. Can you comment further on this?
Thank you, Geoffrey, for the opportunity to respond. To understand how perception of energy influences our practice of Radionics is to identify how we generally perceive life on a day to day basis, through our body. Basically we hear, see and feel (the NLP model). We model people around us. We sit, stand, move, even adopt tastes in food, beliefs, conscious or subconscious, and actions. This is our own bias. It always changes and flows.
By about age seven psychologists agree that we take on every experience and belief system around us, be it positive or negative. This is achieved through a process called modelling. Everything we do here in this tick tock space has to do with how we perceive an event. Our birth is almost the first trauma we experience, so traumatic that we are propelled forward and we forget our origins. We are dependent on others to help us and we model different behaviours from parents, grandparents, friends etc. Those models are connected into our feelings, our nerves, our perceptions, based on having a physical body. The physical body is very self-oriented with specific needs to grow and develop, and is ego based. In esoteric terms, it’s the personality, the realm of the lower mind – the lower triad, containing the Mental, Astral and Etheric – physical levels of vibration. Archetypically, it is Narcissus gazing into the pond, having fallen in love with his own reflection, thus our lives are governed by the ego-intellect which I call my “little self”. This is operated by the ego intellect, the linear mind, it is the realm where the ego builds hierarchical towers of Babel.
In the Alice Bailey model of the seven levels of the Constitution of Man, there is the upper triad, our Higher Self, the realm from which we originate. It is a dimension where there is only Unity. Think about it, a place where there is no light and dark, no polarities as we know them in our perception or language. In fact, it is the pure energy of consciousness. This is the upper triad of us forming a triangular relationship (or, law of three). It consists of Will (or intention), Love-Wisdom (desire or attraction), and, Active Intelligence (how we actualise or create from our intent). The lower triad is of the Mental, Astral and Etheric/physical points. It is a mirror image of the former, thus “as above, so below”. I prefer this model to understand our perceptions, and how we can change them too.
We came here to raise our consciousness, to bring the light of Consciousness into our human experience; to take on Higher Consciousness. We are pure Consciousness, energy, life itself. The connection to that former world came with us through our heart (or Heart Chakra), hence the scripture, “The Kingdom of God is within.”
Understanding who we really are, that is, condensed energy of Source vibration (from Abraham Hicks), and by going within, we link to the Source, from our heart where pure love dwells. Coming to an understanding of that is crucial to our being. Once connected and we are in touch with our former realm, then it unfolds and becomes present, if our intention is to do so.
When we don’t feel this experience, then it’s time to go within, to meditate, focus, pray, so your vibration is quiescent enough to hear the still small voice that penetrates us, because it is through feeling that we actuate our inwardness to bring it outwards. How often has a dowser or radionics practitioner asked questions and become enlightened as to the direction they need to go with their efforts for treatment! They have accessed their intuition.
Intuition is a gift that is outside our time-based linear world, it is vertical in nature. A practitioner needs to be able to stand aside and take on the role, or model the “fair witness”. Radionics folk do that through dowsing and asking questions. The questions temper our perceptions and help us create a map to balance whatever problem or challenge that we seek to heal, no matter how simple or complex. Dowsing always reflects the energy of the individual, how they hear, see and feel.
This process can be biased toward the practitioner; for example, I used to tell people no coffee, tea, tobacco or alcohol because that’s the rule I lived by. It was a narrative or story that fitted me and my perceptions, my bias or judgements. As a practitioner we all have our ways of healing, our disciplines, and often I find myself learning new ways of helping healing to happen. We need to clarify our intentions, or will. Each time we dowse and ask a question, we have the opportunity to bring in new knowledge. To do this requires our linear side, the left-brain oriented, which is ego governed, to stand silently with us whilst we ask questions of our right-brain side that receives information from the Source via our Crown Chakra. Once alignment is achieved in the practitioner, consciousness starts to flow.
Radionics folk are alignment practitioners. Depending on the bias and alignment of the client, how open they are, they receive the energy of consciousness. A radionics device, machine etc., dowsing charts, cards – all constitute the left-brained ritual to help the person to receive healing. We facilitate the energy from one dimension to another through the intent and belief to heal.
► If I may interrupt for a moment, do these people receive healing or perceive healing? In other words, does the person get healed from without, as the allopathic system believes, or do they perceive the healing that is already inherent within themselves? Perhaps it is that since consciousness is one (actually “one” is already too big a number, if it’s thought about with any depth), then healing just is. Do you care to expand on this?
As far as I understand, all healing works because of our perception and will to receive. Healing happens because, inherently, we are unified and One. We live in a physical universe and subject to temporal circumstances, illusions, splits and linear thinking where we aren’t paying attention to our connection to our Higher Self. Healing happens when we allow that Unity consciousness to enter our state whilst here in our body. Once we realise it, we can take our stand as the conductor of the orchestra and carry on. Healing is being, and being is transcendental in nature, yet we can and do experience it.
So to continue where we left off on the subject of energy and perception: Between the upper and lower triad (“as above, so below”), the Source or Monad seeks to express itself through a spiritual ego which is part of the process of individuation. There are definite structures reflecting the Will, Love and Active Intelligence. The Active Intelligence in Bailey’s work is called the Causal body at the level of the Manas or spiritual mind, which is represented by a focal point called the Lotus of the Soul. Each petal has a connection to us here in physical creation.
The Lotus has a Will or knowledge petal, a Love/Wisdom petal and an Active Intelligence (or service/sacrifice) petal. The Soul also contains the permanent atoms: Mental, Astral, Etheric/physical. Permanent atoms, for the sake of brevity, contain the knowledge of how to create every aspect of, say, a human being, or an element, plants, animals, including microbes and viruses. There are seven levels of the Constitution of Man and each depicts a level of consciousness, gifts, talents and abilities. The Causal body contains, in the permanent atoms, the archetypes that help form our physical universe. The permanent atoms have in themselves the karmic patterns that we express and solve. Earth is a solving place.
Once we take on a physical body we come, from a dimension of Unity and Oneness, into this world which is split and subject to the laws of that “lower” world. One law is that everything created in heaven first, becomes physical second. We are a physical creation and we have slowed-down consciousness and live in reflected light of the Source through “fire by friction”. (See Genesis, the creation of light on the first day.)
This physical light is very intelligent and comprehends everything here, but cannot comprehend what it calls the dark. When we stand up on a sunny day, it is bright and warm, and we see our shadow which is part of us.
We ferry through life via the archetypes and model or reflect our experiences from them, to them. For the light to comprehend the dark, it is a gradual process of returning to Unity again. Radionics works by channeling the Energy of Consciousness of the Soul to the individual, and the practitioner stands as a fair witness to channel pure energy of Consciousness to the individual, places or things.
Ultimately we have the ability to bring light into the darkness so we can comprehend it. A shadow is just that; you can partly see into the shadow, it’s not entirely dark. Shadows are cast wherever there is light; Plato’s cave, for example, where people are transfixed by the shadows and how they imagine them to be. We listen and follow the voices of reason as we try to discern the flickering on the walls, we form beliefs and fantasies of how things “are” because of our imaginations, our projections.
The shadow is about illusions, because when you come into more light, a lot of the shadows disappear and we are then forced to adapt to the new light. Plato’s cave is an analogy of perception, an archetypal image of our human condition. In the cave, we are chained there and develop our perceptions based on the shadows cast there. Liberated from the cave we come out into the sunlight in which we can experience the world as real rather than illusions cast in the darkness.
The Greek word “archetype” refers to the origin of a prototype or the pattern underlying the form. Carl Jung expanded the concept of archetypes into universal psycho-physical patterns that are timeless and expressed by human consciousness and culture as mythical themes.
Astrology, I-Ching, and Tarot cards are three disciplines that address the archetype and get you thinking in the direction of, hopefully, improvement. Since we live in a world where our personality, our little self, experiences duality, we can see the positive and negative, light and shadow aspects of everything. It’s important to note that we use time to reference our experiences; our memory holds them in a subconscious state and we act it out depending on whom we have modelled, or what we have created for ourselves consciously. Remember those first seven years, and indeed even in the womb, we also take in the dysfunctional patterns of those we model.
For example, the linear side tells us a war is very complex. To a limited perception that the ego has, that’s true. We can expand that perception by harmonising with who we really are, a greater light which happens to be within (or vertical, up and down in nature). Just note which archetype plays out. There are many of them intertwined and acting, patterns of consciousness and geometries of commitment to express the original story.
Since I live in the West we are influenced a lot by Christianity, so the story that comes to mind regarding a war is the one of Cain and Abel. Every other story will reflect an aspect of this archetype. Cain’s sacrifice to God was rejected, and he saw Abel being favoured and he was wroth. Instead of following God’s instructions as did his brother, he decided to take all that Abel had, including his life, so Cain could own it. God discovered what had happened and the rest is history, the pattern was set. As a society we have been repeating that pattern forever. Once accepted and realising that it’s not the original intent to war, we can let go our selfishness, greed, and will to dominate, and find a better way. Nature is cooperative and competition is only a small part of her.
Remember Plato’s Cave? When we unchain ourselves and seek to go out and live by a greater light, i.e., the sun, we can craft our lives accordingly. Shadow work has to do with memory and imagination. There is only now, the present moment that we measure in seconds. Radionics can and does work on the Mental body where the lower mind holds memory of events. The beliefs that we hold attract those events for us to work out. There are many today, with PTSD, depression, all sorts of perceptions and disappointments, abuses, trauma events; stored in the subconscious, deposited and held in the body – specifically the connective tissue – and often the impact of these events and dysfunctions that we live can be resolved permanently.
In radionics we can help to clear anything we experience on this earth plane. Through the dowsing faculty we can balance and determine the priority assessed to help clear. Nature is self-balancing and we are part of nature. Placed in the right aspect to receive Higher Consciousness, we can resolve the shadows of the Cave with the brilliant light of the Sun, the Source of all physical life. Remember we came here to acquire a physical body to experience individuation of our Soul. Shadow work is part of it, to bring light into dark places, to let go the bonds that keep us in the cave. Practitioners of any technique, especially radionics, are able to address the energy, that three-fold pattern of the triangle, in time and space, to move upwards to receive more light and love and become more like who we really are, irrespective of our background.
Working with the Archetypes, we include meditation and cultivate our spiritual gifts of healing, in this case, or to help a client become whole; the process is reciprocal. People who seek our help are often on a wave length that we have experience of. All of us have a yearning to know ourselves and who we really are, to improve. If we don’t, then we are going by a lesser light and are disconnected. Thus the shadow becomes thick with a negative energy of consciousness, a lower consciousness.
It is a horizontal model of the muck at the bottom of the river where we dwell. Once we pop our heads above the muck and see the water, we want to go there. Those who dwell with us hold us back, spinning tales that they need us, our energy, and if we go to the water, we will be alone and will die. But we know to follow our heart and vision, and besides, we can always return to the muck. Once in the water we see others swimming freely, more light and freedoms, faster etc. One day we pop our head above the water and view the space and surface. Looking to one side we see land and move toward there. Once on land, we develop further. It’s been said when we meditate, do it where the land and the water meet. That’s the junction of the basic elements of nature.
► I’m reminded of the Hindu concept of Tirtha, or “crossing place”, frequently associated with water, a place where you can cross over to a higher spiritual realm. There are, of course, boundaries both metaphorical and literal, between the mundane and sacred, but still, this is where it happens.
Please continue.
These Archetypal images are useful to hold as practitioners. Every time we use a rate or symbol etc., and help healing happen, we feel an exhilaration because we have brought in consciousness of the universe to bear on the problem. The Archetypal images we hold and have resolved for ourselves will determine how well you can help others heal. Do it enough, and just associating with others, is enough to heal. As Malcolm Rae said, once you bring the patient to mind, the healing starts.
► This is somewhat similar to the healing method of Joel Goldsmith, who I’ve mentioned in previous articles. He would see the patient in the same way that God would look upon him or her – i.e. in perfect vision without seeing any fault or flaw. This is probably somewhat different to the way that a radionics practitioner, or indeed almost any healer, would view the patient.
Yes, it’s something to adopt, it will help one be more accurate and focused with radionics.
In radionics we develop a protocol, a way forward, to bring into focus with our devices and attitudes a way to treat the shadow aspects. Sometimes it comes in the form of negative intent from others, or energy that needs clearing from a house, field, people, animals etc. We can use the protocols of others which is useful because you are building on the successes of the past. The light that those practitioners, masters who have sorted a lot of the ills and challenges, we may have, increasing one’s vitality. That is, our ability to take on the life force and flourish. Sometimes the practitioner produces protocols on the spot according to the guidance they receive with the client in mind.
I am being redundant because the beliefs we hold have “charges” and we will create a lens through which we look to experience the world. Positive reinforcement and all other life experience are left to the ego, our little self, which is limited to the perceptions and beliefs about this world. Beliefs are held in the Mental body and are stored in our physical body in an automatic way. Think of driving a car. At first you have to condition yourself to do it, and then it becomes an automatic response. We treat life like that, which is why I say we are not aware of our surroundings as much as the perception of that experience. Perceptions are based on patterns of experience we have stored through modelling.
Milton Erickson, the famous hypnotherapist, understood this modelling concept well. Personally I have repeated his observations with success over and over. It looks like magic to us, but he developed this personally when he was 15 years old and stricken with polio; his whole body was paralysed except his eyes. Gradually he trained himself how to use his body again perfectly, and after two years was going on canoe trips, almost completely recovered, although later in life he used a wheelchair. He learned how to observe things that we take for granted.
Taking things for granted means we are on auto-pilot most of the time, and unaware. When confronted with a traumatic experience, i.e., a car accident, suddenly we are very focused in the present, and depending on one’s beliefs about how one is supposed to be, how we have modelled a parent, sibling, friend, grandparent etc., will determine how we can balance ourselves. Often trauma is misinterpreted, because we have the meta-model of moving toward something because of pleasure, or moving away because of pain. Behaviourists will tell you that reinforcing behaviours can come negatively or positively; often we suppress it all and move on, until memories surface, both in feelings without words, or there’s a belief about our experience, a judgement.
We come from a Spiritual world where everything is unified and come into a world that is split. Archetypically it’s Narcissus gazing at his reflection in the pool of water, constantly trying to clarify and improve the vision comprehended. It’s on the surface. This is important to realise, because, we are born into a world that has physical light. When you stand in that light, you see a part that is called the shadow, that area which appears with no light or less light. This demonstrates we have a split perception.
We still have the link to our former world of existence, and we have lots of examples of it through historical evidence, and humans have helped to create a way to deal with the unseen. A belief is unseen, it’s a thought matrix of “If…then…” phrases (cause/reaction) that causes us to see or experience things according to our original needs (physical/psychological), needs like to live, to love and be loved, to feel important (i.e., legacy), and a variety of things. We all have shaped and developed views of how to meet and greet that resource within. Even a person who has received the worst can still learn to be better after all; we have arrived to our present day experiences from everything we experience. Sometimes the beliefs are useful or not useful. We call that dysfunctional; it doesn’t get our rewards of whatever of the former four we feel we need.
► If I may interrupt you again on this topic: In Vedanta, which is my framework of reference, the cause/reaction duality is one of the major causes of illusion, or false thinking. In the Vedantic way of perceiving reality there is just Consciousness, only a perpetual “beingness” without cause or effect. For example, a crow lands on a palm tree, from which a fruit drops as the crow lands. We see the crow landing as the cause, and the fruit dropping as the effect, but actually there is neither cause nor effect which are a product of the thinking mind. These concepts of cause and effect could be considered to be a system of belief, in an ultimate sense.
One archetypal perception that’s useful, and these are contained in the Causal body of us all, is that of Plato’s cave. If we stay in the cave and in the dim lamplight we see shadows on the wall flickering. Our imagination can be shaped by such a limited experience, but, when you come out of the cave into the light, a lot of those beliefs, especially the negative ones, are exposed for what they are: shadows. How we reinforce ourselves, represent those and other experiences to ourselves, determine our feelings and outcome.
Simply put, in the light the shadow is relegated to a very small part of us, when not inside the cave. We are not afraid of the shadow if we perceive more light, unless we focus on the shadow. We can condition ourselves at any time of our life with success. I know of older folk in their hundreds who are still learning.
So Narcissus at the pool is what our ego tries to clarify; we learn tools that allow us to fulfil our lives according to our original, perceived needs. Some people justify their feeling and judgements, their belief filters, and believe they are right or wrong, good or bad, moral or not, etc. These are limited but powerful, perceptions which have literally caused nations to come into being or be wasted. It’s still us looking for the influence of the shadow despite whether we are out of the cave where we are comfortable and don’t need to think.
► I think that we’ve fleshed out perception and energies, how they influence the way that the radionics practitioner thinks and operates! It’s very good to observe the development of the spiritual topics brought to radionics via David Tansley too. So on that basis, can you tell us more about shadow work, what it is, and what it entails?
The Archetypes are in the Causal body of this earth life, so we go by those beliefs. For example, as we’ve seen, a war is the enactment of the story of Cain and Abel, two brothers feuding over perceived power. It’s in many myths of every culture, only the names and contexts are embellished or changed. The ego gets insulted and wants to believe that it’s more complicated (a.k.a. more splits, more “isms”) than just two men fighting; rather, how Cain entered domination into the experience. He did, and we have repeated it. We love stories and have learned to tell and relate them whilst constructing tools, or cooking and enjoying a meal, building a dwelling, planting, hunting etc. Remember, some of our stories have perceptions and feelings about what’s outside of us, from where we originated, shadow or not. How often did we as kids enact such events of the past, of what we think we know?
The various implements we have, including radionics devices, reflects our way of thinking. They are constructed accordingly, even a computer which is the result of mathematics meeting thought. In other words, a computer is really a fancy adding device. The dowsing protocols (a way forward, a recipe, if you will), will help determine how to heal, and healing is simple. It’s about energy coming into us, how it works in us, and how it flows out of us. It’s always on the move because of our perception of time, events, thoughts, beliefs. Thoughts and beliefs are in the Mental body, and filter down through the desire or Astral body, which has feelings which shape our Etheric and have influence on our physical body. There is the upper triad, our Higher Self, and the lower self or personality which dwells in tick tock, as Stuart Wilde puts it.
We are a personality that experiences this universe, whereas from our true Self, our Source, Soul is really the upper triad in spiritual terms, which is not subject to the same rules as our limited lives. There are some principles or hints of what it’s like. For example, “as above, so below” is a common global belief. To a dowser and a radionics person, it’s a useful way of understanding.
The ego-intellect can’t understand the subtle energy aspects, it has to be trained, conditioned. So the limited ego, with its body of hear, see, feel and conditioning, they too make up our space-time experiences, whereas the Spiritual ego has already sorted everything it needs to exist in perfection except the last bit, the reflection, the footprint in this life.
► Footprint? Can you expand briefly on this point?
The footprint analogy is just that; the footprint represents this physical existence. The other 99.9% of us is in unity and is transcendental in nature. Earth is where the Monads express themselves via the seven levels of the Constitution of Man.
Yet from our point of view knowing about the footprint – that is, this existence relative to our Higher Self – is useful and powerful, a place to experience our feelings and share them with others, and acknowledge the Spiritual where everything has been created before it becomes physical. Even the shadow stuff! Anyone who has had near death experiences and bliss describe this. Prayer, focus and intention allow us to receive and let go. This is the “spiritual wave” or impulse from the Source which uses the same motion as the breath.
How to let go? The very rules to follow, to model, are always with us every second. We need to accept and observe how it works on the breath, for example. We receive, hold and process, and expel or let go, only to repeat the process. Chakras receive the energy, process and expel. Sometimes there are blocks to that process, and the shadow is one of them. So breathe in, receive; hold and process; then breathe out, we let go, engage a different system of action.
If this is boring to you or you don’t get the over simplification, remember Erickson’s experience. He had to train every movement, feeling, taste etc. in his body so that would afford him a very different way to relate to life. His work is filled with the examples. He recognised that we all live aspects of the Archetypes, the stories we come to believe in and operate by. If it doesn’t give you the desired outcome, the goal, you need to change the formula, starting with the beliefs, deciding what works. It doesn’t work because most of us have a negative reaction and there are loads of “isms” and methods to extend those beliefs ad nauseam. This then, is part of the shadow foundation we work with.
One warning: pat answers are merely convenient ego-based ways of supporting a narrative, which means we haven’t thought about it, we just repeat what we have been told. That’s okay when it comes to teaching but it fails when related as a global belief, e.g., the pandemic we just experienced. “Just do what we tell you and you will be safe…” – enter the limitation of Plato’s cave! See how it works? We still adopt past ways, but now we have technology to light up the cave, if we dare, and no longer see the shadows of the past.
The way forward is to accept the fact we are both essence and shadow, we are the upper triad and lower triad, the triangle of Will, Love/Wisdom, and Activity or active intelligence (ego based). We learn that truth from Moses who experienced the presence in the burning bush. He asked who it was, and the reply: “I Am That I Am”. He encountered the Spiritual ego; there was no shadow, only light, and the shadow aspect, the physical bush, did not burn. It’s through such visions, experiences, that can help lift us out of the shadows of Plato’s cave where we believe the past which is our memory, or the future which is our imagination. We only have the present experience that lasts, by our measurement, by the second or a fraction of a second (the split surfaces again) to try and catch hold of our experience forever. To move ahead in anything, one needs to move ahead, outside the whole experience, to understand and accept it or find how to solve something (i.e., better tools). Just to let you know, all the quantum theorists and scientists have studied the Vedic scriptures in one form or another. They tell us of the experience of pure consciousness and its origin.
► Yes, I’m also aware of this latter fact. The Vedas and Vedanta (which means “the end or conclusion of the Vedas”) seem to provide everything necessary for the spiritual quest, and the scientific pursuit as well. Vedanta says that even the splitting of time is an illusion. It basically says that there is no time and only Consciousness. And it appears that humanity hasn’t evolved past this point, if such an evolution is even possible. So perhaps it is the “eternal truth” (Sanatana Dharma) after all?
I’m referring now to what you mentioned earlier in our discussion, which involves Archetypes. Can you expand on exactly what is an Archetype, and why this concept might be important to the radionic practitioner?
An Archetype is a universal, recurring pattern or image that appears across cultures and time, in literature, psychology and mythology. It can refer to a character, symbol, or event that is widely recognised and understood, transcending cultural boundaries. Archetypes are believed to be part of the collective unconscious, a concept developed by Carl Jung, which suggests that these patterns are innate and shared among humans, influencing behaviour and thought.
They are universal patterns, part of the Collective Unconscious, and are character and symbolic in nature; for example, The Trickster, The Hero, The Mother, The Shadow. Archetypes can influence human behaviour by providing models for understanding and interacting with the world. For example, The Shadow, a symbol of repressed thoughts or desires. Archetypes make up the backbone of the mythical stories passed down. We live in a Second Ray Universe or law of attraction. To reflect an Archetype in one’s attitude and behaviour, or character as actors do, you can get an understanding of why people behave as they do. They are acting out the Archetype.
When I lived in Glastonbury, I met many people who had downloaded the archetype of King Arthur, or Merlin, into their character to work out traumas and experience it in themselves. We have people today who change their names so they can identify with that Archetype and the story, believing that some part of their Soul has been reincarnated. That’s a more grandiose aspect.
► I can personally vouch for that tendency! Many years ago now, I was given the spiritual name of a great king of antiquity who personifies the highest spiritual principles and is mentioned in many Hindu scriptures. I have tended to embody the influence of that king, not that he has been reincarnated, but that the principles of his life are gradually being absorbed into this life. Whenever I read of him, my immediate and instinctive reaction is to think, “Oh, it is talking about me!”
On a typical family level, we often cite behaviours, words, preferences, that children pick up and favour that are from a grandparent. In my case since I do genealogy, some of the traits carried down from a great grandfather from the late 1700’s appears in my character, and other cousins, and no one knows where it came from, until I realised a tragic story of this ancestor that took several generations to work out. I would have dreams of that family only to have the feeling confirmed when I read about the act. He had committed suicide, or even more sinister, hung himself, and 16 people signed an affidavit as to how he hung himself in a drunken stupor and went crazy. Because he was Black, prejudice was arrayed against him, plus I learned of the stories the family were suppressing later on.
I was greatly relieved by learning of the whole event that caused the family to have a split between the two until 200 years later when on all sides, they recognised the event, black and white together. We chalked it up to the event over 200 years ago. Radionics helped me to clear this off from the relative subtle anatomy locations where it was connected. That is a rather dramatic example, but you get my gist that families inherit past behaviours, both negative and positive. That is linked to the Archetypes of our culture.
With radionics, we can realise – see with our “real eyes” – that these are memories attached because they haven’t been worked out and balanced. When you bring in the consciousness of radionics, it clears the memory and its impact, because you are bringing in “light” that dispels the shadow and the fantasies which we regard. By recognising Archetypes within oneself, individuals can differentiate their behaviours from these unconscious patterns, reducing negative influences.
The stories we repeat to ourselves and that reinforce our beliefs are important and can be experienced by all: in the stories of the hero conquering, or the tragedy which authors of the past wrote about; e.g., Shakespeare who aptly said, in “As You Like It”: “All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players. They have their exits and their entrances; and one man in his time plays many parts.”
We see through stories, accounts of experiences, how we too can behave and gain similar outcomes. This is one place we can experience the Archetype. It’s been extended to film and the like through art etc. Winston Churchill, for example, was a prolific writer and had a keen understanding of Archetypes. The suggestion was to stop funding art and use the money for war, about which he disagreed: “If not for art, why do we fight?” Without expression of our stories of the Archetype, we lose our sense of creativity.
Radionics addresses the energy of the elements in the Archetypes; indeed many of the devices and patterns we see have an artistic side. David Tansley saw it impractical when it came to healing and saw the creation of various devices moulded in the personality’s image. For example, a clergyman was excited to show Tansley his device. Tansley reported it was shaped like a pulpit! He criticised it and other things that we do to devices in the name of power or domination. Keep it simple, was his motto. I’m inclined in that direction because the device represents the author… it’s tool-making. The attention is placed too much on the form rather than the focus of what heals, which is a process not a tool.
Secondly, radionics is a process of the practitioner allowing healing, which is consciousness of the universe, channeled to an individual using a device. A focused mind is a single thought to no thought mind. To do so requires perception of events as they process through an individual. One can see how they are connected to Archetypes of belief. Much of it is esoteric, hidden in symbols and experienced as such.
If we model the universe in how we act and what we do or build, we can only be successful. As above, so below, is the universal principle at work. So if you build a radionics device with, say, sacred geometry measurements, you are capturing that aspect of the archetype through modelling. The use of patterns, like how we use a Malcolm Rae card, are evidence of the geometries of creation. The idea of nine dials comes from Ruth Drown’s work and how it’s linked to the Kabbalah. Some of the devices of old have up to 108 dials set in banks where you test the sample through, say, five levels or eight levels and receive the numerical sequence which you can treat the noted issue to be healed. The rate then, is a symbolic representation of a whole process, a connection to the Archetype. Oh, it doesn’t guarantee healing though, that’s a different story of how it works.
If we receive it, that is, if it harmonises with us intuitively (intuition is outside our space-time system, a “gift” of the Spiritual), our ego-selves, mostly subconscious, along with our right brain connections are united with universal energy; pure Consciousness. It’s only achieved by looking upwards, not just in linear fashion, or side to side. Quantum entanglement, which we hear so much about, is a linear order because it’s experienced in matter, whereas on the subtle or “Higher” more refined energetic levels, it’s what I call quantum-connected. The Higher we perceive or experience, the more diffuse the energy is; it unifies and connects with the consciousness of the whole universe, rather than the consciousness of what we humans command. There’s a constant interchange between us and subtle matter, as we are only separated by veils of pulsating vibrations, myriads of thought forms. Our view of it is different from here as we are memory based and linear. So our brains use concepts to identify our Archetypes.
On the etheric levels, our perception is limited, and indeed perception is a deep spiritual sense not based on the five senses, but rather intuition in unity. We are looking at the foundational knowledge of how the Archetypes are determined. It’s an up and down or vertical alignment to a pre-established hierarchy of creation of the form we all agreed to before our birth.
Archetypes are universal as are numbers. The psychologist C.G. Jung worked with archetypes and saw them working in a person’s expression, either positive or negative. I previously mentioned Astrology (angles and numbers), Tarot, I-Ching and other divination devices, which place us in the atmosphere of receiving Higher Consciousness. Einstein, the great physicist, even said that we can’t solve a problem at the level from which it originated. He, too, read the Vedic scriptures etc. Imagination is made up of linear and non-linear elements bringing in the archetypes for Higher knowledge or increased Consciousness, through the linear and non-linear aspects of our minds in a balance. In other words, the dowsing we do, the questions we ask and the answers we receive are evidence of the type of consciousness we can let through. Every radionics practitioner always knows that energy work benefits us immensely, and radionics is pivotal in addressing the hidden aspects, and it reveals the patterns, synchronicities of the Archetype. That includes the shadow aspect of the Archetype.
► What is your opinion of tuning into the developer’s intention for the radionics instrument? Does this make the work of radionics more fruitful? I’m of the opinion that the builder’s intention is almost as important as one’s own intention. It is embodied in the instrument, so to speak. What do you think about this?
Intention is very important especially when it aligns with the individual’s true inner goals. Intention here is symbolic and mental, of the First Ray or Will. That intention shows up in everything we create here and if the radionics instrument is built to model those sacred numbers, measurements etc., it is aligned with the Archetypes. For example, you can build a radionics device using sacred maths so you, in effect, tap into the Scaler capability of that model. The measurements would match sacred geometry. A radionics device is archetypal, especially if it models various features of the Radionic Archetype.
Archetypes are created from the Seven Rays of Creation. I already did a Radionics 2 course where I address the Shadow and how radionics protocols can assist. Most physical diseases or accidents etc., have their origin in the past. It’s part of our own family Archetype, and Archetypes are universal, as we’ve seen.
► How do protocols help in the work of radionics? And how would you develop a protocol, the exploration of the situation, to get some semblance of a narrative to help make the treatment effective?
Yes. So, the semblance or narrative that can help us… The protocol we choose or create is from our experience of what is intimated to be true, effective or useful. We do that through questioning, remembering and imagination. You can add the feature of “Archetypes” to your protocols and ask questions, after you have permission of course, and if it’s in the highest good of the client and all those involved. If affirmative, you can ask from there. Gaining permission helps to determine priority and the direction to go in.
So my approach to the shadow is fundamental in nature. When we get results that we don’t want or we limit ourselves and give up – that is, belief in a lower aspect of the Archetype – it creates all sorts of distortions. The Shadow, first and foremost, is pure illusion and distorted. So are our beliefs summed up in the NLP model: delete, distort and generalise. In my classes I teach my students how to perceive. That’s a model of how we relate to the world of senses, and a subject for another time.
Finally, radionics is one of the very few modalities we have that moves and addresses the energy structures and aspects of one’s work. David Tansley was more interested in the spiritual aspects and used Alice Bailey as an authority regarding subtle energy. The Seven Rays of creation at the Atmic/Buddic level is where they reside. The Rays govern and influence seven aspects of life and they create the Archetypes. We live in a conscious and dynamic universe and as humans we have the unique blessing of being able to see through the veils and experience the energy of creation, and our Higher Self.
